How do wind turbines work?
Wind turbines transform kinetic energy of the wind into electrical energy. When the wind drives the turbine blades, they turn a rotor that is connected to a generator. The generator then produces electricity that can be used directly, stored in battery storage, or supplied to the distribution grid.
